Green Bit to Showcase Fully USB 3.0 Ten-print Livescan Called DactyScan84t at ConnectID16
Grugliasco, March 10, 2016 – Green Bit will present the fully USB 3.0 compliant ten-print Livescan called Dactyscan84t during connectID16 taking place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC, March 14-16.
The DactyScan84t fully leverages on the increased data transmission speed of the USB3 standard which guarantees for fingerprint acquisition at close to 28 frames per seconds which translates into less than 1.2 seconds for a 4-slap acquisition and less than 0.5 seconds for rolled fingerprint acquisition.
Further the overall dimensions of the DactyScan84t have been reduced in order to accommodate the more and more challenging requests in terms of physical dimensions for Livescan devices to be physically integrated in solutions like ABC kiosks or enrollment jump-kits. Besides CE and FCC certification for electro-magnetic safety, the DactyScan84t will be certified as per FBI EBTS/F for image quality, USB-IF and IP54 for protection against water and dust ingress.
Availability for testing and integration is targeted for September 2016 with mass production planned for late Q4 2016.
Everyone interested in having a closer look at the DactyScan84t is invited to visit Green Bit at booth 515.
