Fingerprint Verification

Fingerprint verification, also known as 1:1 authentication, refers to all fingerprint matching solutions designed to match a ‘live’ fingerprint, taken at the moment the verification takes place with a Livescan device, against a single finger stored on a smartcard or another token.

Verification is generally used to quickly, securely and efficiently authenticate the holder of a biometrically enhanced ID or entitlement document before granting access to standard or additional services.

The DactyMatch SDK has been designed exactly for the aforesaid purpose and is top-ranked in FVC on-going, a dedicated on-going benchmark for fingerprint verification SW, and has been NIST/Minex certified.
